Federer defeats Berdych to qualify for Wimbledon 2017 final

Roger Federer on Friday, defeated Tomas Berdych to reach his 11th Wimbledon final.

Federer won in three sets 7-6 7-6 6-4 and will now face Marin Cilic, as he seeks to clinch a record eighth title and a record 19th Grand Slam crown.


“I fell very privileged to be in another final. I’ve had the pleasure to play on Centre Court so many times, I almost can’t believe it’s true again. It was a long way back last year, it was difficult to stay calm and take time out. But I’m so happy I did it.
