2017 Round Off! The Posh Rappers vs The Local Rappers – Who Had The Best 2017?

The Nigerian music industry witness a whole lot this year… 2017 is a year of multiple sides but finally, it’s ending soon.
The Rap faction of the music industry is lacking behind in term of quality contents as more and more rappers went commercial and left their Bars behind in pursuit of fame and money.
Truth be told, even those claiming hard core rappers would have gone commercial if they can.. Na money all of us dey find 😂

Whether they left the Bars behind or not, we still regards them as Rapper anyway.. E no easy to dey rap and to dey sing..
So, our question is simple 👇 Judging by the lists below, for the whole of 2017, Which category of the Rappers had an amazing 2017?
The Posh Rappers
1. M.I Abaga (The lead man of the Posh rapper gang)
M.I Abaga, a.k.a The Chairman, is the co-owner of chocolate city record label which used to be one of the biggest label in Nigeria. M.I had a 2017 full of controversies surrounding his track “You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Life” which eventually happens to be a Hit.
2. Ycee
Ycee, is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter signed to Tinny Entertainment. Omo Alhaji as he’s fondly called is the best now frankly. Please I can’t argue! His song ‘Juice’ is still the only juicy track that can battle Davido’s IF on iTunes Chart, what do I have to say again. 2017 is so dope for him.
3. Vector
The first time you heard him you might have mistaken his voice for American rapper, Jay Z because their flows and voice are very alike. Vector is that Nigerian rapper that flows in good English without getting tired. He did an awesome Job this year compare to last year.
4. Yung6ix
Yung6ix is a warri born rapper who started his hustle in 2010 when he remixed Ice Prince “Oleku” and his version got thumbs up by many. One of his hottest single is “Blessing” where he featured another Warri singer, Oritse Femi . His Album “Highstar” was a fine one and he got enough Juice this year and hope to see him shining come 2018.
5. Dremo
The freshest rapper on the block. Fresh out from the stable of DMW is the latest one to reckon with when it comes to rap. The beast gave us Fela, Ojere, Iro nla, Back 2 Back. Dremo is nothing but a colossal blessing to his musical genre. Dremo was a bit on a low this year, we guess he’s cooking something for the year in view.
6. Ill Bliss
Oga Boss is among the well known bosses in Nigeria Entertainment Industry and his lion flow is some thing we can’t forget in a hurry. Sometimes ago, the rapper made it known that he is retiring from music maybe he wants to go into something else who knows.
7. Falz
Falz The Badth Guy is now one of the biggest boys in town who earn alot from his rap business . Falz is not just a rapper but also a comedian, his short comedy skit made him popular on social media before he finally decided to try himself in the rap world. His First Headlined concert “Falz Experience” was definitely a history to write about. His Album “27” was a Killer. He killed many shows and also bagged reasonable amount of Endoresement and Award this year. 2017 is a year of multiple blessings for the Lawyer turned Rapper.
8. Naeto C
Naeto C ‘Ten Over Ten’ song is something we can’t forget in a hurry because it is one of the street favourite as at them .Talking about those few Nigerian rappers that does their rap in a global standards, Naeto C is one of them. Nothing spectucular this year but baba is on the low inspecting how the industry is going.
9. Ice Prince
Ice Prince, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and actor. He rose to fame after releasing “Oleku”, one of Nigeria’s most remixed songs of all time. A lot happened in 2017, but he’s still standing and we pray God place his hand of mercy on him come 2018 and beyond.
10. Jesse Jagz
Jesse Jagz is one of the most respected rapper in Nigeria because of the way he raps as if rap is nothing, he raps as if rapping is the easiest thing to do on planet earthß
