Adeoti happy to be back as injuries rule Mohammed, Ossy, Boje out of Wikki clash
Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC of Ilorin’s midfielder, Muiz Adeoti, has said he is delighted to start playing again after his injury nightmare.
Adeoti upon returning from a 7-month injury lay off played the entire 90 minutes in a goalless draw with Rivers United in Ilorin last Sunday.
The match day 29 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter was the first competitive match for the midfield maestro who had successful surgery on his toe in a private hospital in Lagos in March.
The midfielder in a chat with sports journalists, said, “I am very delighted playing again, this is what I love doing and I’m happy to be back.
“My focus now is to help my team to beat the drop, it is unfortunate the position we are right now.
“The period I was injured wasn’t friendly at all but I’m aware it’s part of the game, how you respond to such situation is what is important.
“I hope I can continue to stay injury free for the rest of the season and beyond because I’m enjoying myself again” Adeoti said.
